LENTEN SERVICE PROJECT
A big thank you to everyone who used the coin boxes for the Lenten service project.  On Easter Sunday we collected those boxes and we had a total of $310 donated.  That money will be sent to buy baby chicks for families around the world in need.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
A prayer shawl is a simple shawl created with love and prayer to be given to someone in need.  Our hope is anyone who is in need of prayer, hope and comfort may have a shawl and will know that people of Lord of Life Lutheran Church are praying for them. When a shawl has been finished it will be brought to the Church, taken to the altar and blessed.  When a shawl is given out it will have a brief prayer attached to it.  YOU CAN BE A PART OF THIS MINISTRY!  Donations of yarn can be made, it takes 3 skeins of yarn to make one shawl.  You can use your talent at crocheting or knitting - simple patterns are available at the church.  We have volunteers who are willing to share their talents if you want to learn to crochet or knit, call 605-393-0700 for more information.
