Valentines Fun Night
Sunday February 11th @ 4:30pm
Everyone is welcome to share in a Spaghetti Dinner with salad, bread sticks, punch, and brownies with strawberries and cream. This is always a fun time with lots of good food, games and door prizes. There will be a free will offering to help support fellowship gatherings throughout the year. You don't want to miss out so please sign-up on the board in the church entrance or call the church office to let us know you plan on coming. If you don't drive at night, we can arrange to have you picked up too. Please call 393-0700
Thanks and see you on February 11th!
Lenten Worship will begin Wednesday, February 14th at Lord of Life starting at 6:00pm for our Ash Wednesday Service. We will continue through Lent to have our Wednesday evening services at 7:00pm following our Lenten Soup Suppers.
Please join us starting Wednesday, February 21st during the Lenten season, for our soup suppers. We will offer a delicious soup supper before our mid-week Lenten services. The supper begins at 6:00pm. We are looking for volunteers to provide soup, bread and bars for 5 Wednesdays. We need to have 4 people/families to sign-up for each of the 5 Wednesdays. It would be safe to say each person/family signed up should bring enough soup, bread or bars to serve at least 20 people. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by church office. This is a wonderful time for fellowship with your Lord of Life family.
Lenten Project - God's Global Barnyard
During the 40 days of Lent, we will ask everyone to participate in a special project to help purchase baby chicks (not literally) through God's Global Barnyard. Coin boxes will be available starting February 11th in the church entrance. Please take one and use it to collect money throughout the Lenten season. Bring your coin boxes back to church on Easter Sunday. All the money will be pulled together to purchase baby chicks. Gifts of animals to struggling people all over the world help provide food to eat, fertilizer to grow crops and offspring to sell at markets. Baby chicks in particular begin laying eggs at just a few months old, offering protein rich meals for families who are hungry. Please pray for this project through Lent. Thank You!
